The Backyard

SAMMY

Lots of times efurry day and lots of times efurry night I sit in the big patio window and looks out into the backyard. There is a big ginger kitty that lives somewhere around here who wanders around and comes up to my window and pops it wif his paw. So I pop back. There's also some birds who come around to the feeder (HEY MOM! Put some more bird seed in the feeder - I fink that if you do that, more birds will grow from it and we'll have lots of them again!). We don't gets squirrels, but there is a big woofie named Dutchess who lives behind us. She has a zappy collar so that she can't come ofurr to our door. I don't fink she's furry smart 'acause she's always zapping herself. Mommy also has veg-tables growing in big containers on the patio and around the side of the house (where I cannot see). I likes looking out but I nefurr want to be out there again. The garden on the side of the house is where Mommy finded me when I was a baby. But yesterday afternoon, 'afore Mommy gotted home, fings were FLYING around in the backyard. Plastic garbage can lids, plastic chairs, anofur flying saucer pool. There there was loud loud boomies and more wind. It was scary. When mommy gotted home, it had stopped, and I was under the bed. I don't likes when fings fly around the back yard.

Oh Sammmys I needed to teleport ofur to you to keep you from being fraidy. We coulda snuggled together and made it through the loud boomies not being fraidy. I don't like loud boomies eefur. We have lots of boomies here and it's our bad way-ther season now. BIG boomies and wind can come and even make us ee-vac-q-wait. I don't worry though, Mom will take care of us.

At least you can hide under the bed. My mom's is too close to the floor and none of us can fit under it, not even to get to the toys we keep under there. So we have to be creative about hiding from flying things in the backyard.

Boomies doesn't sound fun. I'm glad I was already home!

Georgia says there is a gray cat who wanders into our yard. She doesn't like that at all.

Sounds like you've got a nice backyard to look at. Get after your mom to put food in the bird feeder. You'll definitely get a lot more birdies to chase after.

You always need a few hiding places, you never know when you will need them.

Momma is getting company, which I hate, so would it be OK if I teleport over to visit wif you guys and Trixie? I could leave on Sunday and come home on Tuesday, if it wouldn't be too much trouble.

My mama loooves thunderboomies. I don't mind them, cause I can always snuggle with her, and she watches to make sure I don't get scared! She always talkes really soft and sometimes petties me a little. I am BRAVE.

I hate the fire alarm, though, and run and hide!

I am teleporting on over tomorrow at 9:00. That will give me a chance to give momma some extra loves afore I leave. I am bringing some stinky goodness and a towel to sleep on. See you then....
