Insanity

MILES

Mommy needs a jobbie SOON. She painted the "aksent" wall in the lifing room a while ago, and now she has painted and sponge painted ofurr the paint and put up a border in our big entry hallway. NOW, she says she is going to wallpaper the small human litterbox room off the big downstairs hallway. If we're not careful, she will paint or wallpaper US.

She is also doing somefing called "wait wachers" where she fixes food and does maf at the same time, then mumbles about "points". If it's not fun, then why does she do it? she wants to loose pounds too, so she's making us suffer more wif not gifing us enuf foods to lif on. We try and tell her all day that we is starving. Efurry time she goes to the kit-chen, I goes out there too and stands up on my back legs and tries to get the food off the counter and then I yowls and stands next to the dish, but she says "oh Miles, you need to lose a pound" and I doesn't get food. BUT, when SAMMY the Squishy Belly comes into the kit-chen and rubs all ofurr her, she feels sorry for him and gets out some food. I hate those crunchies. Sometimes Sammy is on my side and won't eat the crunchies and rubs all ofurr her and gives her the pafetik look until she breaks down and gifs us stinky goodness. If that's how she does her wait wachers, then she will nefurr loose pounds. Oh, and neifurr will I. But that's ok. I doesn't want to loose pounds.

Perhaps the way for your mommy to get you to loose pounds is to make you exercise more. She could throw treats down the stairs and make you go get them eleventy bazillion times a day...that might do it. Ya know you have to go about a squillion times to work off one treat.

Might work better for squishy belly as he likes vegetables..they don't have much calories in them.

It's odd how when humans need to loose weight they put us cats on a diet...

I can't help bugging my Mom for food if she is home from work for the day. It is incessant. I do much better when she goes to work - then I don't have to think about food every time she goes in the direction of the kitchen. I hope your Mommy finds a job soon - it will be better for everybody's diets!

Sorry about the diet, it sounds miserable. Hopefully she'll get a new jobbie soon so she doesn't paint you guys- I like your colors and I don't think you need any "aksents".

Miles, you need to hide when this sort of stuff begins. And make the Squishy Belly run interference and get food for you.

I like my toms with meat on their bones. Does she want you to pull a Nicole Richie or something?

Sheesh!

Hmmm...How do peoples watch themselves wait? Do they need mirrors? That's kinda vain, I think. They shouldnt make us watch them wait, either, they should just open the cans and get out of the way!

Miles, take it from a cat who knows... with humans you gotta be extra nice. They're independent and you can't boss them around by using force. But if you praise them when they do something right, then you're on the way to training them.

I rub up against my humans (doesn't matter which one, it works for both) and purr purr purr real loud. They say "What a Good Cat you are, Kelly!" and they do what I ask. Try it, and see if it works for you too.
