Happy (?) New Year

Happy New Year. I guess. I am still so mad a the mom. I really want to apologize to efurryone that we did not get our holiday cards out . Mommy says that between Me and Billy being sick, and werk and "life" (like she's allowed to have one!) she just could not get everything done. We appreciate all of the cards that we got. We are still working on the thank you notes for all of the generous donations to our v-e-t bills. Those WILL go out (or there will be pandemonium, and anarchy around here).

Mommy is furry werrie about me - my head it tilted to the left most of the time and sometimes when I look up at her when she is standing up my head is almost upside down it's so tilted. She just holds me and cries. Like it's not bad enough that I'm tilted, but now i have to be slobberd on, and wet too? SHEESH - get a grip woman! Although my head is tilted, I am not nearly as wobbly as I was before. I still have prollems jumping up on high places, but I am better. So I really really REALLY does not want to go back to the v-e-t but there's still that threat. Mommy says she has to talk to the v-e-t to see what the "next steps" are. 'asides an oper-way-shun.

Oh, and last night Billy whapped a full glass of water right onto mommy's head while she was sleeping. now THAT was some comedy. She gasped really loud and sat straight up really really fast and looked like someone was trying to kill her or something. HOLY COW, it was HYSTERICAL. And then she saided something like fev-ver pillows take forever to dry. and she hadded to wrap the pillow in one of her big giant bath sheet towels.

Not only is your mom worried about you but I am too. I sure hope you get to feeling better. You are in my prayers each day.
that would have been funny if you had a camera that could have recorded the water into the mom and pillow. You might have won $10,000 on that tv funny video show.
Wishing you the best for the New Year 2009!

We're laughing and Jan is glaring at us. But, hey, Miles the Mad, that last part was funny -- to us furries. Not to Jan. And especially not to your mom!

We've sorry your world is so tilted. We know you don't want to go to the vet, but perhaps there is something they can do to help avoid an operation.

We hope Billy has recovered fully.

Oh Miles, you sound just like Tucker looks! His head is still tilted way to the left too! He won't jump up on anything at all! He walks around fairly well but he still gets off balance and stumbles! We are getting worried that he isn't going to get better either. His meds are almost finished! :o( We are praying for you both to get yourselves all better!!!

(((Miles))), our mom is holding you in spirit too. She said she has to do it that way a'cause you live so far away she has to hold you virtually, but we hope you can feel it. The entire blogosphere is holding you in its arms.
Billy, our mom had to quit sleeping with a water glass by her head because Scout will do the same thing. Moms mouth dries out in the night, and she has to get out of bed now & get a drink.

Billy, our mom switched to one of those sport water bottles awhile ago because of know...whapping in the middle of the night, or just someone licking it.

I hope you continue to improve!!

Miles... oh Miles I wish I could make you better.. I think your Momma should take you back or even to a different one for a different opinion, just like hooman do with doctors :)))

Oh Miles we hope that ear thingy goes away. We don't want you to be a head case.

Mum doesn't keep water by the bed, but would something like a sippy cup that can't spill help?

Here mom and I were feeling kind of blue reading about your tilting head, Miles and you throw in the story about Billy and the water. I must admit, we laughed out loud!

It's good that you're not as wobbly, maybe that means something. But if it takes a stabby guy to take something out that'll make you as good as new, I suppose you might not want to fight it. Just poop on him, and that'll almost even the score.

And tell Billy GOOD JOB! I've always kinda wanted to do that to a person. It just seems like good fun. Heh.

We'll be thinking about you Miles!!

I think your mom should look into getting a large rabbit water bottle to hook up to her headboard. Water issues solved.

Billy the Whapper? Awesome!

We think your Mom Lady person should not worry about mailing thank you notes or cards. The green papers would be better spent taking care of a tilted meezer and a sweet feets.

Oh Miles, we hate that your head is still tilted. We know you don't want to go back to the

Happy New Year to you all. I do not think you should stay mad at your mom, because I think everyone is far more concerned about you all being well than about some silly cards.

Miles, we are all worried about your head tilt. We are glad that you aren't as wobbly, but want you to not be wobbly at all.

Billy, good job with the water. Your mom probably doesn't appreciate the good job Sammy is doing in teaching you the fine art of whappage.

Haha we wish we could have seen the water.
Miles we hope you can get your head straightened up. Don't stay mad at your mum, she's very busy and is just trying to help you.

OMG, mom would kill me if I ever did that to her. Your mom must be really patient, cuz if I were Billy, I would be homeless, again.
As for you, Miles, your mother is having a hard time of it right now (Mom knows this as she has been there) and you have to cut her some slack. Mom says a week off from work, being forced to sit under two puggies and reading a lot really do get you relaxed. Maybe you could help your mom try that. My mom thinks your mom needs lots of love and snuggling right now. We would love to give her some, can we come over and Lucky can cuddle with your mom?
We hope you get better, Miles, and that there are other options for you.

Billy, great job whapping the water on your Mom! Awesome! Miles, I really hope that you can get all better and not have head-tilting any more. Tell your Mom not to worry about sending out thank you cards. She had more important things to spend her money on than postage stamps.

from owr beans:

we had a similar problem with Stevie. he had a tilty head (almost upside down sometimes) and he didnt eat gud and had his 3rd eyelid up. we cried too thinking neurological issues, like he had a stroke and we lost our oldest pup 3 years ago at 19 due to stroke. they cleaned his ears at the vet, we held off at the bloodwork, they said our cleaning really made his ears worse. he went on some meds and his 3rd eyelid eventually went back into its spot when hes awake and hes eating. hes still tilty some and skinny but he eats like a pig and seems happy. he can get his head straight some too but has alot of tiltyness too.

so if he goes to the vet have them check his ears first. look before you go to see if the ears are dirty too it might work if you cleaned them but we did that and made Stevies worse.

the tiltiness doesnt automatically mean neurological issues we now know.

we hope Miles gets better quickly.

it's been a while
