Nicky Tuesday

NICHOLAS FUZZYPANTS

a tramajik thing happened to me last night!!!! I was in the human litterbox room watching the rain box thing fill up with bubbles, and mommy was standing at the sink running the bristles ofur her teefs and I wanted to play wif the bubbles! So I standed up on the side of the rain box thing and reached out to poke a big bubble - and I gotted WET! ALL OFUR!!! and it was HOT!!! I screamed and the mom screamed and pulled me out and sticked me under the cold water in the sink and then wrapped me up in a towel. She checked mine furs and skins all ofur and I was ok - she efen checkded mine eyes 'cause I wented in the water head ferst.  I said I was ok, but the towel was nice and snuggly, so she gotted anofur dry towel and wrapped me up in that one and called the v-e-t.  the v-e-t saided that I was prolly ok, but if mine eyes or ears turned red, or mine paws to bring me in to the 'mergency room (I think she would haf had to call the 'bamalance for that).  But I saided I was ok and just snuggled into the towel and purrrred.  Then when I was dry, I sleeped unner the covers right up against her all night.  I's ok - I didn't get burned or anyfing like that, just scairt.  Bubbles is BAD.

Oh dear Nicky. the same thing happened to Lola so she feels your pain.

Lola was lucky because mum always runs the cold water first when filling up the tub, just in case one of us decides to drop in.

You poor thing, tubs can be scary especiall when they are wet and slippery and full of sneaky bubbles. Glad you are ok, you deserve treats and toys for this.

Tubbies are furry scary! Especially in our house! Our dad gives the little bean her tubs and when she's out, if the water is still draining and we're in the local vicinity, he'll pick us up and throw us in! It is NOT funny AT ALL~!!! Glad you weren't hurt!

Oh dear Nicky - we bet you little heart was going pitter patter ever so fast - it's a good job your Mom was there when you fell in and could pull you straight out the water. Probably it would be best if you sat in the doorway in future.

Oh my! That must have been scary for you--although it happened to Georgia once--she didn't have bubbles though (which was probably good).

Oh poor Nicky! That has happened at our house too but usually the water isn't too hot - we are glad you are ok and didn't get burned. But getting wet is bad enough - it sounds like the bubbles were out to get you or something!

You poor thing. I'm glad you're ok. Mom gets in the rain box everyday and I don't know how she does it. She even seems to like it! How weird is that?

That sounds verry ascary. We are not fans of bubbles at all. They make noises and then disappear. Stop by our blog tomorrow. We are finally back.

Oh Nicky!! I am so glad your mom was not in the tub!! When I was about 12 we had a Tim named Elizabeth (long-haired kitty, only two in the litter and we had a hard time sexing them... even the vet!... until it was too late!). I was taking a very very very hot bath. Elizabeth and his littermate Mittens loved to sit on the side of the tub.

Elizabeth was sitting on the side of the tub and slipped into the tub. Both of us screeched!! But Elizabeth levitated about three feet up, went out the door with me right behind him. Mind you, he was still in mid-air!! Now granted, the duplex we lived in was small, but he continued to levitate himself across the hall and did not touch down until he hit my parent's bed pillows!!

Since there was no one else home and no one expected home for at least an hour, I took the towel I'd grabbed and immediately began drying his fur until he spoke up (I have a history of verbal cats around me!) and let me know he was okay now. His brother Mittens immediately took up where I'd left off (Mittens was the 'momma' cat).
