MILES

5 years ago today mine wonderful Gramma Trixie went to the Rainbow Bridge to be wif Grampa Norton and The One Who Came Before - her little brofur Ralphie.

I loved mine Gramma Trixie very much.  She went blind 'afore she went to the Bridge and I would help her walk around the house and make sure she got to the litter box ok.

She teached me alot about doing fun things and making the mom holler, but how to nefur get in trubble for it.

We all miss you furry much Gramma Trixie.  You can read more about here HERE and at her offishul Rainbow Bridge page HERE

We remember when Grandma Trixie left you all. We always thought you were so sweet to be of such help. We also loved that it made your Momma think to send Georgia her lovely blanket when you were our paw--and Georgia snoozed on it and it always reminded us how much our geezer friends love their special places.

Oh my has it been 5 years!!!!
We loved Grandma Trixie. She was a "character."
We know she's enjoying the Rainbow Bridge with it's sun and lush green grass.

We're sending you all purrs of comfort today. We never "get over" the losses, just accustomed to the absences, as someone else around the CB put it a while ago.

One of the saddest things about dementia is losing one's memories. (Don't worry, we're not calling you demented.) Memories are so precious and we treasure each one after a furry has left us. What would we do without the happy memories reminding us of those we love?

Hugs for all.

Dang...it doesn't seem like that long, and yet it does. She really helped turn you into a real mancat, didn't she? I hope Buddah is half the help to me when I get old as you were to your Gramma Trixie...
