I gotted some good pointers from Trixie on how to stare at Mommy all night like she does. And IT WERKED!! First, you let your human get real comfortable in the bed, and wait for them to start making the sleepy noises - you know, that snorking sound that they make when the fall asleep. Then you get real close to their faces - as close as you can get wifout getting a queasy tummy smelling their breaf. Then you open your eyes real wide, and just stare. Wifout blinking if you can. Stare and stare and stare, and eventually your human will wake up and find you right in their face. This freaks them out. It freaks them out even more if there are 2 of you in the house and you're bof doing it. Like Trixie and me last night. She kept saying "get out of my face" but no matter which way she turned, we was bof there when she opened her eyes again. She even tried the Vicks trick - put Vicks on your nose so that the kitties will run away. But, Trixie loves to lick Vicks, so she just licked it off her nose and we kepted staring. It was a great night.

I'm going to try that staring thing tonight! Normally, I just cash out in the middle of the bed so that when she wants to roll over, she has to maneuver around me. My favorite is to sleep between her knees so that it's especially challenging for her to turn over.

I don't understand it.......the Mom says I have "fish breath" and she says that in a bad way!!! Mom, I hate to tell you this, but your breath........Ouch......

I can't do the stare down wif Momma. Boo has first dibs on the room with Momma at night. I sleeps on my sofa. Momma promised me if I start gettin along better wif Boo that I can sleep wif her. I just can't seem to get along wif my sisfurr. I need some help. Sammy can you help me to get along better wif my sisfurr?

Great pointers from Trixie. You two sound like you really have it down pat.
Whenever I try to stare at my mom, I only wind up laughing.
I'm too afraid to stay on the bed to stare as my human pet has a tendency to toss and turn. She has pinned me more than once on the bed while sleeping.

That's so funny Miles! We can do that easy wif our Dad. He senses things very easily and then he jerks and gasps at the same time as when he opens his eyes and sees us! Jus be careful though so the beans don't pounce on you after you wakes them.
I am glad you are picking up some tips from Grandma Trixie, Miles. It's amazing how much wisdom the older cats can pass on.
We like to stare outside the patio door like there is something out there in the dark.
Gives her the creeps everytime.
