Mommy gotted home yesterday from werk, and I was so happy to see her that I runned around really hard. Then I gotted up on the couch wif her and somefing TERRIBLE happened. I was laying there, and I started jumping up off the couch - not on purpose! I coulded not help it - I kepted doing it ofurr and ofurr and ofurr. Mommy lookded at me and started laughing. I didn't fink it was funny - I tried to tell her to call a 'bamalance for me 'acuase I was dying, but she just kepted laughing. She picked me up, and it was still happening. She started petting me real nice and then all of a sudden it STOPPED! She saided that I had somefing called "hik-cups". She saided I prolly gotted them from running around like crazy. I run around like that all the time and it nefurr happened 'afore. I don't like the hik-cups. They hurted my tummy.

Are you sure it wasn't hicks that weren't sleeping? We have hicks here in the Big Piney Woods and they are lazy and sleep a lot.

Ohhhhhhh I get hik-cups too. Ushully when Mini gets on my big bed. Mom says it's cuz of the stress. I say it's cuz of the sisfur! They's not no fun at all, I agrees. Maybe we's related!

What are hiccups? I burb sometimes but I've not had hiccups. I don't want them if they will made my tummy hurt and humans will laugh at me. Poor Miles. You deserve some ham after going through all that.
I'm sorry Miles. Sometimes if you eat too much too fast you can get hiccups too--or so my momma said. I haven't never had them, but her other cat who was a Siamese would get them. Maybe you have to be a Meezer?

i've had those a couple a times and i didn't like 'em either. they just felt really weird. glad they went away (your Mom shouldn't of laughed at you i don't think...)
Did you get that from eating too much ham? Mum says you can get hickups from eating too fast.
That is so odd. I have never had that happen to me. It sounds so horrible! I am so relieved to hear you survived your ordeal.

Hiccups are no fun at all...unless it's a person that has them. Then it's hysrterical...
I hads those. I was lying on the bed purring, an suddenly I'm sorta twitchin or bumping. It was a little like a hairball wifout the coughing or the barf. Mom laffed at me, too.
