Second of all - Mommy has LOSTED HER MIND. She moved all the furniture in the lifing room around 'acause she wants to paint an "accent wall". Sammy saided that she gotted the paint 2 years ago and is just getting around to it. That's 'afore I was borned. She's NUTS. She still really sicky and has to sit down efurry 10 minutes, but still wants to paint the wall. Well, it's a small wall, but STILL. The woman is out of her mind. There's no talking her out of it. What's a poodin to do? Well, asides from putting your paw in the paint pan to see if the color matches your furs. It doesn't. And I hadded to get a partial baf.

Is she painting this accent wall to accent your features, Miles? Perhaps that's what it means. Does the paint help your eyes to sparkle? Does it show off your sleek lines and manly whisker humps?

U need to hide the paint can. Have Sammys diss-tact your Momma and den take that can and hide in your fav-O-right hidey place so she can't finds it. Den frow some stuff off the tables and get her mind off dat wall. Move the fur-knee-chur back into place and by den she will have forgotten all bout paint.

Hmm. This is a tough one.
Have you tried gettin in her lap when she sits down to rest? Purr and snuggle and look as cute as you can, maybe even go to sleep there? My Mom always feels guilty to get up if I'm sleepin' on her.

Well you could do what I did or at least fake it. The people were painting the eating room when my femur got all infected. That mad them stop and the room took 1 month to finish. While I don't suggest seriousl injury, I say limp a little bit, just enough to distract her.
I am sorry your Mommy is still feeling poorly. Meowm and I will sing for her.
Me Meowmy talks about painting...but she says we rent an apartment and we would just have to paint it back to white. White is fine with me.....that partially matches me. :)
Yeah, I need to get crazy again...I've got the paint already. Had it for over a year now but still haven't painted my bathroom or the family room. Then I hear that Bailey (another dog) got paint all over her so I'm worried about Lilly getting too nosey. At least it's latex so it's washable.

I'm with Zeus on this one. I am sure, even though you weren't born yet, she chose that color to bring out the best of your good looks.

We think the time your Mum spends painting could be better spent taking care of herself and cuddling you two.
Oh dear ... Hummies do the strangest things ... tell her the paint dont go well with being sick the fumes will give her a head ache ... then put her to bed with lots of purrs!

I agree with Cecilia. Sit on her until she comes to her senses. Or maybe she's having ham withdrawel. Better make her get some out and ham all around.
You got to be careful about those color changing things. Some don't come off very easily. We know!
She should restest until she feels better, then paint. No good for her to work so hard.

Eeek! A baf! Efun a partial baf. Gosh, I wuz bizzy purrin on Mommy and lookie what happened to my poor boyfriendcat! Is you all ok now, Miles? Beans are weird bout walls. Grandma keeps wantin to do that to one wall but maybe she's not crazy enuff yet? I dunno. I figgers if the wall keeps out the winds, it's just fine!
