If there's a stick of butter hanging out on a plate on the eating table, then the kitty gets to eat it.
I eated a stick of butter last night.

Ok, mommy 'splained my blood werk to me and then the v-e-t called and saided that she talked to Cornell, who didded the test, and they (I fought Cornell was a v-e-t, i guess it's a place) saided to wait until June 30 to test my bloods again. So, instead of going tomorrow, I haf to wait until June 30, then wait about 10 more days after that for the results. I fink mommy will haf a heart attack 'afore then. It's ok wif me, they nefurr give the blood back after they test it, and I fink I needs it. Maybe I'll save some extra up just for the test.
The (almost) daily adventures of Sammy, Miles and Nicholas Meezer. One is sweet and calm, one his happy and playful. The other? um......not so much.

Wow, that's a very long time to wait for bloodwork. But you're right, at least it gives you time to save up the blood.
We will be purring for you non-stop till we hear these bloodwork results. We purr that they will be good!
Miles it is better to wait a while for more blood tests. It makes it easier to see if the stuff they are testing is going up or down and by how much. If they do the test too close together changes might not show up as easily.
I don't know if it helps kitties like it does humans...but eatin foods rich in iron helps with the blood...like cow's liver.
I don't know if you even like liver (I'm not a huge fan...but my mommy makes it pretty good.) Actually I think what happens is the iron helps your red blood cells to carry more oxygen...so getting more iron in there gives you more oxygen which is always good.
I don't know if there's any food to help with the white blood cells which fight infection. But I don't think it's butter Miles!
Still prayin for you. BTW: Lilly has to go to the V-E-T tomorrow to get some S-H-O-T-S. Just boosters cuz she'll have to stay at a K-E-N-N-E-L when we go to the wedding.
Butter rocks! Especially when it is the last stick in the house and DKM gets grumpy...

We feel so sorry for your mommy. I'm sure this is extremely hard on her.
Doood..a whole stick of butter? Oh man, you're gonna seriously decorate the litterbox later!
I got paws crossed that your next bloodwork is better. Drink lots of water, that'll make it easier to get the blood out and you have the bonus off maybe peeing on someone during it.
That's a good rule Miles!
I'm sorry that you have to wait so long to have your blood retested. It does make sense, however. I know it will be hard on your mom to wait that long, but give her lots of cuddles and purrs to help her out.
I am sending lots of healing purrs your way.
That's indeed a long time to wait for tests ! Hopefully it will all be good. We have a new kitten Rosie 6 weeks old if you want to look at her but don't behave like Arthur he is afraid of this mini cat !
MIles

Waiting makes sense, but I know it will be very hard on your Mom.
Miles, A WHOLE STICK of butter?!? I am impressed dude!
Oh no, Meowmy would certainly have a heart attack in that time frame! Of course the important thing to remember is that you are feeling better! Maybe the numbers were high because you were sick and now you're getting better.
Latte

That is just way too long to wait for blood tests and results. Put the bitey on them Miles, and maybe they will hurry up.
Hi Miles--
My momma goes to Cornell. They do some really weird stuff there: they stick their hands inside cows and teach people how to cut all of the hair off of sheep! But Momma says they know all about how to make sick kitties feel okay again, and we hope that your blood is all good and you feel better soon. Your buddy, Jimmy Joe
Miles you are very smart to save up your blood, since the Vets are very greedy with our bloods.
We're purrayin' real hard for ya, Miles. We're thinkin' our bestest kitty thoughts that your blood werk will come out much better. We're sorry your mom hasta wait the extra days, but we know that you & Sammy will help her get thru!
We gots all our paws crossed for ya - hang in there buddy!
so glad your tests are delayed... now you can make some more bloods
Prinnie and I are going to the torture vet today
Oh Miles, if you has to have something, we want it to be toxoplasmosis 'cause that's fixable! Purrs!
We are just not having good news on the net lately.
Miles, we're worried right along with your mommy about your blood work. We don't want you to be sick. Lots of prayers and purrs are being sent from us your way.
Hang in there dude!!! (and mom)
Miles, we will be purrrrrring and purraying for you and your mom and family ans Sammy until we hear otherwise. Take good care of yourself and Mom take care of yourself, too. Did you really eat a whole stick of butter? Save up lots of blood for the vet.
Samantha, Tigger and Mom
A WHOLE STICK OF BUTTER?? I bet your coat will be sooo shiny!
Thanks for the update...we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
purrs and headbutts
The McKitten-Cats
Relax Miles. After all the weird things they do the blood they take, you don't want it back.
Sending healing purrss to Miles, and {{huggss}} and headbutts to the rest of the family.
Yep it's a long time to wait, but it will give the levels that they are testing for chance to go down. We're going to keep purring and purraying furr yoo.
Wow, that is a very long time to wait. At least it gives you some time to work on your blood. Every day until June 30, you must tell your blood: BE GOOD! BE GOOD! BE GOOD! Then, when the VET calls back, he will say "I am very amazed, the blood came back and it was good!"
Sending lots of purrs and prayers that your blood will, as Daisy said, BE GOOD!!!
Dat's a good rool bout the butter!
It makeses sense to wate bout the blood werk, but waiting is no fun. We'll send lotsa purrs to yore Mommy so she don't haf a heart attack. And lotsa purrs to yore blood to get it to be good.
PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRS and nosekisses ~~ yore girlfriendcat Sanjee
Well, after all that butter, yer cholesterol may be a bit high!
Miles, you should nefer eat sumfing like a whole stick a butter just afore seein the VET! He'll fink you eat too much fat an haf cole... kole... Ester an all. That stuff in blood that makes beans' harts attack em. An they already fink yur blood's broked!
A course, you prolly don't haf to worry bout hairballs or constant-pay-tion fur awhile. Purrs!!!
We'll be purrin' and purrin' and purrin' for you, Miles!!
Miles since they don't put the blood back in maybe they are going to wait cause you will make more blood for them to take. I sure do hope you are feeling O.K. in the mean time. Maybe you will get all well and they won't have to take anymore of your blood. Oh BTW how did that whole stick of butter taste??
Casper
It does make sense to wait before your next blood test. If you have elevated levels because of your ear infection, waiting allows time for them to go back down. It's going to be hard on your Mom, though. Here's some {{{hugs}}} for the both of you. A whole stick of butter? I'm surprised you didn't yak. I'll be hoping and praying for normal results on your blood test.
We're purraying and purraying for you and your mom. That's a long time to wait. (((hugs))) to your mom.
We're very impressed with your butter snack. That sounds like something Titus would do.
My Agent's friend works at Cornell. Perhaps he can keep a look out for your blood and nab it back for you when they're done testing.
I think he owes me a favor, anyway.
