The v-e-t lady called Mommy earlier and told her that Cornell tested my bloods fast and she hadded the results
i doesn't haf FIP!!!! My FIP titers wented DOWN!!!
Howefurr, I did haf Toxoplasmosis, but 'acause I has been on aunty's bio-tics, those titers wented down (about 1%) and she is not concerned anymore. I doesn't haf to take any more medi-k-shuns right now.
I just haf to go back to get more bloods stolen for the platelet test. If my blood is clotty or thick, then I might haf to take heparin or aspirin (yeah, I know, isn't that bad for kitties? well, maybe not if your bloods are thick).

Yay! I am so happy that you don't have FIP. I was really worried about you. I'm glad that the toxoplasmosis titers went down, too. If your blood is thick and you have to take something for it, don't fight it. It isn't so bad. My Mom takes a blood thinner every day and she feels great.

Hooray! Hooray! I am so happy to hear good news, Miles.
Pixie used to take 1/2 of a baby aspirin a few times a week because of her heart condition (to help prevent blood clots due to the turbulence in her heart from the mitral valve dysplasia). Sometimes it made her bomit, so she was reduced to 1/4 of a baby aspirin.
But, now she is on Plavix. Pixie goes to a special animal cardiologist, and she said last year that Plavix has been shown to be more successful in preventing clots than the baby aspirin for cats. Not sure if that would apply in your case or not. But it is VERY expensive. It costs almost $50 a month just for that drug alone. But of course it's worth it!
Hoooooooray! I am so glad for you Miles and for Sammy and your mommy and daddy too. I hope you get some ham to celebrate!
