MILES
When it's freezing cold in the sleeping room at night, make shur that you walk across your beans back and stomach and face every 20 minutes or so, hollering at them that it's freezing cold. The holler at your suck-up brother that he is not helping by snuggling unner the covers against the mom. Then holler at the ceiling that's it's too cold to sleep.
The (almost) daily adventures of Sammy, Miles and Nicholas Meezer. One is sweet and calm, one his happy and playful. The other? um......not so much.

I did not know this. I will implement this at once!
Another kittie with beans that won't turn on the heaty thing. A kittie needs to keep warm.
If you're a wolfie apparently the plan is to tie yourself into the smallest ball you can, groan and then sigh that it's too cold. However if you move into the other room it's just fine.
I escapeded frum the icky PTU and the meanie v-e-t! I's comin ofur to hide at yore house! Hide me! Maybe under tha covers would be ok for that? Or in the tent in the woods? I's coming, we'll figger it owt. And maybe we can snuggle n keep warm too!
Purrrrrrrrs and nosekissies,
yore girlfriendcat Sanjee
Cheysuli says she will assimilate your humans so that you won't be cold...
Yelling doesn't work here, it just makes mom yell back to shut up. We just krawl unner da covers wif her and make her lay very still so we all have comfy spots. Hey, she work out the kinks in the morning...it's our comfort that matters the most.
Interesting rule! I much prefer snuggling under the covers next to one of my humans when it's cold. But whatever works for you! :)
Yes, that is an excellent rule. I think it may work best if you force your stinky sibling to do it!
Tara
A very good rule! Though I tend to use the walk on your Mum;s face method as it never ceases to get her attention.. ;)
I have found hollering to be very effective.
Hollering is a good method. I prefer the boob walking, it's a show-stopper!
Hi guys! As you know today is WEDNESDAY!!Mom goofed and posted the wrong day.Sheesh!! Maybe I need to holler every 20 minutes at night to let her know she goofed.
Excellent advice.
It was really cold last night. Where is our space heater????
Well, your brother ought to be trying to help the situation by tearing across the bed with you. If your humans complain, tell them it's the only way you can keep warm.
I live and breath this rule. Its what gets me kicked out of the snuggle room every night.

My mummy has a 'pacemaker'in her chest wot ever dat is. I have stwict instrucshions NOT to walk over it. I haf to resort to crying and head butting wardrobes to get attenshun.
Miles
You need to snuggle down next to Sammy and your Mommie!
Mommie hadda go to da stick place today and give bloods. I hope she doesn't fink we needs to do dis!
***wavin paws***

That is a super good rule. I'm gonna try it out. heh heh

Those are wonderful tips, Miles!!
We like your advice. So far we have tried standing on the bean's chest and meowing loudly into their face but it has not worked yet. We shall try your tip tonight!
It hasn't been cold enough for me to complain, yet, but I am keeping this in mind for when the chill comes! I demand warmth and comfort.
I agrees!
We do the same thing, except it's for food!!!!
Here's what I does, I pull the books and CD's offa the keeper place! She tells me to settle down. So I do it again. Then she gets up and shuts me inna bathroom where I has a bed and stuff. after that I just give up and try to sleep in my own bed.

I agree completely, Miles. When we're not comfortable, it's our duty to let someone know about it so they can fix the problem!
George
That's a great Meezer rule! I holler a lot, too, even though I'm not a Meezer -- at least not to where you can see it, bwahahaha!
Thank you for coming to my party and helping to make my birthday the best one I've ever had!
Love and cuddles from Dorydoo.
I'd use that rule but my mom doesn't let us sleep with her (something about us hogging the bed [???]) but I could adapt it to: Holler at the bedroom door that it's too cold to sleep, and then for extra attention, pick at the carpet!
Furry good Meezer advice - we should always go with our natural talents/strengths! Thanks for the info, Miles!

The nights are getting colder here too. But luckily I have a very floofy coat and my mum feels the cold so she does tend to keep the heating on, dad likes it cooler.
you know, when it's cold at night, I climb under the covers and attach myself to mom's hip and stay there. It's nice and warm there. Mom likes it too.
Roxy
I hate being cold - that sounds like an excellent rule to follow!
P.S. I hope it warms up there!
Time for a petition:
You need a little space heater with a comfortable big cat bed at it's side for the winter!!!!!
Count my signature in!
Karl
Right on! Oh, Miles, you'd better come bisit - we has HAM fur dinner!!!!!!
I like to stand in front of da heater floor vent in da mornings and holler a bit. Mommakitty usually caves in!
hmmm...I haven't tried the vocal route. My specialty is frantically digging at the blanket and the Lady's arm and hands with my very sharp claws. Last night I gave up and went to sleep with Grr. She and I were in one cat bed - we didn't really fit, but it was warm.
Midnight
Belated fanks fur owr award!! We loves you both too!!!! We'll try to get Momma to post about it this weekend.

That is excellent advice, Miles. There are suck-ups at my house, too. Aren't they annoying?
DMM
That's a very good rule, Miles, but maybe you should just join Sammy under the covers.
