Wow, it's been a very rough week for everyone in the cat blogosphere.
As you see, we have gone "Violet for Violette".
Billy cannot stop talking about his purrfday on the 31st. He keeps saying "my purrfday is tomorrow" and we keep telling him it's lots more sleeps until his purrfday. it makes for some arguments around here.
Many of you haf made comments like our house is busy all the time, and we should let our mommy rest or relax because we is so active all the time. Mommy is gone 13 hours a day, and sleeps 7 - 8 hours a night, so we has to pack in as much attention time as we can when she's awake. If you ask her, she will tell you that Meezers are very active and talkative ALL the time. But that's not true. We sleep during the day when she is gone. you know, in between whapping stuff.

of course you take lovely naps and you are good all day long. i certainly know that. yeesh... and then you have to teach people like me how to whap which takes a lot of time. i think you deserve toona joose for all that!

yeah, Lilly sleeps when we're gone...and then she sleeps lots when we're here too.

I think your Mom needs to nap while she is away then she can come home and play with you!!!

Mom tried to change us violet for Violette and messed everything up. Tell your mom she doesn't need more than 5 or 6 hours of sleep at night - that should giv eyou some more time with her.

ps. mom says your mom is lucky that she gets to sleep 7-8 hours a night...we never let her get more than 6 before we start walking on her in bed!

Birthdays are very exciting ... I can see why Billy is getting eager. I think your Mom could cut to 6-7 hours of sleep and give an extra hour to you. At least that's what I would petition for.

Our little bein cousin says that all the time - "It's gonna be my birthday tomorrow", like all year. Sheesh!
Our Mommy and Daddy sleep way too much we think all the day hunting should include a mandatory nap time so that they have more time with us!

Yep sleeping through the day when you are on your own is a good thing, cuz then it means you haf lots of energy when your mum is there.
Maybe your mommy could find some way to take a nap at work so she will be refreshed to put up with -- I mean, play with you guys!
