MILES
So, our the mom has gone crazy. she akshually putted the hard drive from our broked 'puter in the FREEZER. she says that she finks the "spindle" or somefing like that broked and that hopefully she can boot it up one more time to get her mail file and pikshurs off, and then get a new hard drive. She doesn't need to replace the entire 'puter, which is good She says it's out of "warranty" whatefur that means, but it sound like maybe the 'puter is hungry for some warranty or somefing.
All of this has affected our routine. Last night she ::GASP:: did NOT gif us dinner when she gotted in the door. we hadded to wait a SQUILLION hours for dinner and then we thoughted that she was going to go to bed wifout feeding us!! (themom's note: it was only 15 minutes guys, and I never go to bed 15 minutes after I get home, although I often want to). And it taked her longer than normal to scoop our box and poor Billy hadded to hold it. When he finally did go the mom called him a race horse. See? She's going INSANE!!! He's a cat - a little cat! A freaking little cat! he's not a horse! sheesh! She's losing her mind! But to top it all off, she opened the door to the cold box and put potato chips in there. we was laffin and laffin, but then we felted bad 'acuase she's losing her mind, and a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
The (almost) daily adventures of Sammy, Miles and Nicholas Meezer. One is sweet and calm, one his happy and playful. The other? um......not so much.

Your poor Mom - it sounds like she needs some serious rest!! Maybe we should have had our Mom put our DVR in the freezer - it got deaded yesterday too. Potato chips in the cold box? Starving cats? Billy a horse?
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
It's the computer crisis, guys. It "does things" to Moms. Give her some space and try not to notice how spaced out she is.
The computer guru called Mom yesterday to tell her that her new hard drive has been installed in her business computer (which failed after 3 months so it is under warranty) and is ready to be picked up. So this weekend Mom will be loading all the software and backups back onto it. Again. Sheesh.
oh, miles! we feels fur you. (we can't reach you, but we feels fur you;-) our mom gets like that once in a while, too--you just gotta be patient until she snaps outta it.
an' tater chips inna cold box? hah! our mom has a bean friend who once found a pound of butter on her washer machine an' wondered why it was there. when she took it to the cold box, she found a dirty diaper inside it! (acourse, she had a litter of six little beans between ages .5 and 10, plus two woofies an' a husband; mom sez it's no WONDER the poor lady was a liddle meshuggeneh.)
Mom says "on-line backup" Cheap, reliable, dependable. She uses Mozy.com, but there are others. She says your Mom can email if she needs more information.
Miles and Sammy (right?)
We are waggin happy to be making some friends with CATS! (Moma said she had sealpoints growing up, and a him ah layin' when she had a wirey dog before us, but we've never ever been around a four legged that purrs. Course, lots is new to us, so that's not too surprising!)
Anyway, we're happy you stopped by our blog and hope we can be friends. That works, doesn't it? Dogs and cats = friends?
Love ya,
Jake and Fergi xxoo
tell your mom to have a little cake, but then a waist is a terrible thing to mind...

Your mom and our Jan should get along great. Jan's lost her mind too and we learned it's hereditary. It's even passed on to furries if you live in the same house. Cause we lost ours too and actually made our first video.
No telling how the insanity might play out in you guys. You might even make friends with the alien next door. So be careful.
My human sometimes looses her mind. But she does not allow the Male to purchase potato chips because there are no bags around long enough to put in the freezer or cupboard or anything else....
Oh, I think my mom has lost her mind, too... along with her to-do list. I heard her say this morning that List Item 1 is Find her to do list! Mom says putting the drive in the freezer is NOT crazy. And she backed up all her photos yesterday.
Oh, Mom had a tough day, too. The boy got suspended from the school and Mom had to go release him. Something like that. So he's home today but not doing anything fun. And she made him clean our litter box. What did WE do to deserve that?!?
Big purrs to your mom. Oh, do you boys know anything about itchy ears? I can't seem to make this itch go away! ::scratch scratch:: OUCH! Oh no, I don't want the vet looking in my ear! Purrs for you all and please, some purrs for us? Thanks!
Sometimes putting the hard drive in the freezer works when you need to get your data off it. So she's not totally crazy. The potato chips in the fridge is funny, though.

The Woman says your Mom needs chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate. And vodka. I don't know, but she thinks those things fix all...
If it makes her feel better about the chips, the Woman knows someone who once found her milk in the dishwasher and dirty plates in the fridge...
Sounds like a tough day, kids. That delayed dinner thing is Not Good. You'll have to be tough with her about that in the future...
(We hope all the pictures and stuff can be recovered!)
Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
It's the computer, guys, it makes the humans go crazy!
We hope she can get it fixed...the 'puter...not her mind...but maybe that's not a bad idea either....
Wow!!! What a night you all had. We are glad you didn't starve to death. Give your Mom a break though....losing minds can be a rough thing. Hopefully she will find it soon and things will begin to return to normal....well, at least to a resemblance of normal.
I think is something that happens to meowms...
I know my mom would nevFUR do anything goofy like that!
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
PeeEssWoo: Good lukhk with her - she's probably out of warranty too...
We never heard of putting the hard drive in the freezer. Maybe if she puts her mind in there too it will stop her losing it.
As long as yur Mom doesn't try to put any of yoo boyz in da freezer it's OK!
give her sum warm purrs she is havin a hard time...compoododdles do dat to our Mom's!
purrs and nosekisses
to my sweet handsome floofy cocoapuff meezerman
your adorin tiny tuxie princess
Abby
That's a lot of bad news all at once for a human to take, so you guys are going to have to be patient, and above all take good care of her. Lots of purrs and affection are the best treatment.
Tater chips in the freezer? Puter drives in the freezer? I just hope she doesn't mix them together for lunch.
At least she might find the chips--my mom puts things in weird places and then completely forgets like a second later! She does that a lot with her glasses. Then she asks us what she did with them!
We hope the freezy hd comes back to life!
Awwwww poor meowmy!!!
many many vibes for her and you......... let's hope the hard drive is the last thing that ends up in the freezer!! lol
