SAMMY

Eight years ago today, The One Who Came Before ran off to the Bridge.  Miles and I knowed the others that came before - Gramma Trixie and Grampa Norton, but we nefur gotted to meet Ralphie.  There is a tab at the top of this page that will take you to Ralphie's special page, (or just click the linkie) where for the first time, his story is posted.  We hopes you enjoy it.

We unnerstand about not meetin some of the cats "who came before". We are allus coorious about Tinkerbelle an Mischief who left afore we arrived.

We hear they were good kitties. Mischief just died without symptoms one day. In her sleep. Tinkerbelle went over the fence an was never seen again. TBT hopes she found a new home.

This is a good day for those special remembrances...

Oh this just made me bawl. Kismet had a heart episode last night and spent the night in the oxygen tent at the emergency vet - we are getting close to that point, I think, and I am not ready, and I am trying to give him so much love in the meantime. Because you're right - that is what it's about. (And you're right -- he DOES look like Ralphie!!)

Hugs and purrs to you guys.

OMC, reading about Ralph did make my eyes leak. That's so happy & sad at the same time. All the kitties in your house now and before are so lucky to have your mom and dad to take care of you. A house with that much love in it is a very special place.

What a fantastic story about Ralphie, thank you for sharing it with us! How wonderful that he lived twelve years when the vet thought he wouldn't make it past one :-) You and Ralphie were blessed to have each other!

Mum had difficulty seeing the screen towards the end of Ralphie's story - her eyes were all wet and blurry. Your mom is a very special lady.

We had kitties that came before us, too. mama says her life is richer for knowing them, and we'll all be together again.

Our mom can't read about Ralphie now 'cause she's at work and she hates to cry at work, but she will tonight. I never got to meet the ones who came before, but I smell them on my beds. I figure they were good dudes, since my mom loved them so much. She misses them, so I'm pretty sure your mom must really miss Ralphie - give her a kiss for me, ok?

Your friend, Zoe

Oh this story about Ralphie just made me cry too. We are so glad that he was able to find his forever home and get out of that awful place.

And we know about not knowing the ones who came before - mom is always sad that Stella and Gus didn't get to meet Floyd.
