Miles Wednesday

MILES

Hi efurryone, it's me. I sorry I has not been around for a while.  Although tricking Sammy into thinking he sent me to Bora Bora was fun.  But akshually I has not been around much 'acuase I has the barfs. Not all the time.  But for some reason I cannot explain, Nicky makes me nervous and then I start barfing efurrywhere.  He likes to chase me and bite mine belly and mine back, and I does not like that.  He does not do this alot when the mom is here, or when she is awake, but he will do it in the middle of the night on the bed, and it wakes the mom up, but by the time she hollers at him it's too late-  I's too upset and I barf.  on the bed.  we doesn't know what to do to make Nicky stop.  This is new for him and for me.  Ushually we lay all cuddled up together.  And we still do sometimes, but sometimes he's just MEAN.  And I's a furry sensitive kitty.  I does not like it when other kitties are mean - 'speshully to me.  So we has to figure out what to do to make him stop being mean so that I can stop barfing.  Any sugjestions?

Maybe Nicky is picking up a problem with you. They have found that some anumals pick up cancer in humans so maybe hei s picking something up you have but don't know it.

sorry typos up there :-P

^ pretty reasonable thought up there.
It is time for a vet visit. barfing is not good.
Owr mom puts us each in separate rooms at night. we have heaty bed, litter box, yumyums, toys, windows and two night lights. Mom and dad can sleep, and we are safe and won't get into mischief (like jumping off the banister, or eating new found treasures, no fighting biting or chomping) alllll night.

bonks and bronks guys!!

Oh no...that's not good. We agree....barfing is not good. We hope things settle down. As much as we have to say it, a VET visit might be in order and maybe feliway diffusers to calm Nicky down???

there is something called Bach's Rescue Remedy that you can put into water....mom used it the last time she moved with us and it helped on the trip.

Try a Feliway diffuser. It helps everybody calm down.

Anonymous may have a point about you maybe having a problem. Meowm wonders if Sammy was picking up on something with Junior before he showed her signs of being ill. A vet visit would probably be good, then we suggest Feliway or calming collars. Good luck, we will be purring and praying for you.

Purrs to you Miles. I would start with the vet too. They might have something that will either relax Miles or Nicky, depending upon the issue. I don't like that Miles is getting so stressed he is barfing-

Oh, Miles, we hate that you keep getting picked on. We don't have any ideas but we sure hope Nicky stops doing that.

I agree about having a vet visit, as heinous as it is for you, Miles, for all the reasons everybody else said.

We hope you can figure out what is happening.
We think the Vet may help.

I have one very sensitive kitty, he gets the barfs a lot too. I got him a Thundershirt, and it helps. He flops around when he is wearing it, but does not get the barfs anymore.

No suggestions but we hope the barfs stop and Nicky doesn't pick on you.

Oh Miles. We're sorry you're having a hard time. Maybe it would be a good idea to get both of you checked out, just in case. But we find that we occasionally have bad periods here too, with more aggressiveness than usual. It's never clear what's going on, and they eventually stop. Cats, as we know, are mysterious creatures!

We also think it's time for a vet visit if this is unusual. We think others have some excellent suggestions for you.

Oh yes. We agree a v-e-t visit is in order. Our v-e-t explained to Maw recently that a specialist did a study on cats who barfed, and cats who didn't barf. Out of the 100 cats who barfed, they had some type of "issue" with their innards. Like cancer biopsies, IBD, etc. So, the specialist v-e-t was trying to point out that it is not true that cats barf all the time. The ones who barf a lot have problems. And we have sure found that out at our house! So, get poor ol' Miles checked out thoroughly.

Good bye my sweet sweet Nicky.  You has a hard time sometimes with your brain injury, but you were always so sweet.  I love you to the moon...
