Mommy? Why is the bed lumpy when I lay down on it?
Mommy: Well Nicky, as I try and explain to you every night, you are laying on one of your brothers.
NICKY: well, I want to lay next to you.
Mommy: well honey you can, but you should not lay on someothercat.
NICKY: But they are in the place I want to lay
Mommy: Well maybe you can ask them nicely to move
NICKY: By biting them in the neck or tummy?
Mommy: NO. By ASKING them nicely
NICKY: They will just say "no" Maybe you can make them move
Mommy: Maybe YOU can come to be earlier.
NICKY: Well, I has to check for ghosts and stuff before I come to bed.
Mommy: Have you ever found one?
NICKY: NO 'acuase you won't let me down in the dungeon to talk to them.
Mommy: ::SIGH:: - just come to be earlier honey
NICKY: Ok Maybe. But the bed will still be lumpy

Ghosts are spooky as well as lumpy.
Getting a prime spot next to mom is WAY better r=tan looking for ghosts. Just saying.
I used to sleep with Mom and Dad but in my older years I prefer my fleece blankie in a location where humans are not SNORING!!!!!

Poor Nicky, I hope you figure how to get to a not so lumpy bed.
Maybe if you seek diligently and quietly you may still find an open area to be next to your Mommy...and no lumps!
that's just not right. You patrol and protect from Ghosts and you don't get the spot you want?? I bet someothercat doesn't do anything for that primo spot.
