Holy mackeral.
We *never* have good emergency stuff on hand here. We have stupid stuff like "corn" and "green beans" and "pickled beets" in the pantry. You are lucky kids!
We have never had anny real pieces of mackeral. But we had sardines a few weeks ago. THAT was inneresting.
That is the best kind of running out we have ever heard of!
