Thank you
Trixie
I would like to thank efurryone for all of their very kind words for my brofur Norton. And also thank you to efurryone who visited him at his Rainbow Bridge site (link is in our blogroll) and sent a card or note. Mommy let us see all of the cards and notes, and she read all of the comments to us last night. I miss him furry much, but I know that he is happy and playing wif Ralphie. I know that he will come for me when it is my time - the V-E-T says that in people years, I'm almost 88. But I still have my girlish figure and still weigh what I did when I was a youngster - 7 lbs. Norton and I were always kind of small.
What was I talking about? Oh, yes, Thank you all again for all of your thoughts, purrayers and headbutts. They mean the world to us and to our Mommy and Daddy. Mommy says it's really nice to know that there is a whole cat-munity out there that understands and doesn't criticize and say "oh, it was just a cat". Cats are people too.

You still look like a young kitten yourself, can't quite believe you are 88 in bean years.
I's know you will miss Norton. But you have Sammy and Miles and your Mom & Dad to keep you company.
Hi my sweet Sammy!

Dear Little Trixie:
We cats and The Mom want you to know we am thinking of you at this time of your terrible loss. The Mom helped me make a memorial for Norton. As you will see, he has a halo, a sure sign he is at Rainbow Bridge. Tell your Mom to watch for the first rainbow she sees, Norton will be close by then. She also says she hates this "only a cat" mentality and she gets "hot under the collar" about it. Bestest luck, purrs and headbutts, to Miles and Sammy too.......all of us at The Calico Girls
Trixie...you are such a hottie for being 88! I have to admit, I'm a bit jealous of your svelte figure. Weighing in at a sound, 12.5 lbs, "svelte" is the last word one would use to describe me.
We will all miss Norton, but not nearly as much as you. We'll continue sending you stength vibes to help you through this rough transition.
You are a very brave, kitty! (I also hope that I am as good-looking, for a bun at least, when I am 88 years old!
Many purrs and headbutts to you all at the Meezer household. No kitty is "just a cat"! We are nurses, counselors, guards, and a lot more, summed up as "love". We ARE love. I hope Granpa Norton meets up with some lovely loved kitties while he waits patiently for you all to come someday to join him.
most cats i have known are way better than people.

We are sad for your family, and for you too Trixie for the loss of your beloved companion of so many years. May we all live such a fine long life!
We are very sad here, too. This makes my Cat Couch sad, because she worries about me alot.
Over the Rainbow Bridge is a good place to be - headbutts and purrs to all on both sides.
"Never trust a person who doesn't have a cat or dog that loves them. If an obviously superior being can't stand that person, why should a mere human?"

Trixie, you look great for your age. I know you and your family will all help each other to come to terms with losing Norton.
"Only a cat"?? What an idea!!
Trixie, you are a lovely senior citizen. We all love you and care about you. Purrss.
I've shed a few tears for Norton, even though I never "really" met him. My tears are for those left behind, as well, who will miss him so. Trixie, Sammy, Miles, Norton is gone but not far, never forgotten. Skritches to all of you. Where do we send the hamm?
I am so sorry for your loss. I read about it on another blog and wanted to come by and let you konw that I am thinking of you.
I'm glad Grampa Norton liked his soft blankie and I hope it is a comfort to Gramma Trixie now. It has his scent for her. Be well. Purrs and headbutts, Bonnie & Victor
All the years togefur wif your Norton makes them so special and you will miss him so much and it will hurt but hopefully knowing that we all are tinking of you will help.
Good thoughts, happy memories to you.
