MILES
(good news) Well, I doesn't haf to go back to the v-e-t today. (bad news) But mommy callded her early this morning to tell her that I was skratching at my ears last night and jamming my ear into her finger whenefurr she petted the left side of my head and now I haf to haf some kind of ointment in my ears.
(bad news)
Some of my blood werk came back and mommy is still furry werried. My platelets is high which means my blood is more thicker than it's 'apposed to be. My proteins and liver enzymes was high too - but the v-e-t saided that it could be 'acause I didn't eat anyfing 'afore i wented there yesterday. I haf to get stabbed again in about a monf to see if it's all better, or if I needs to go on medi-k-shun to make my blood thinner.
Latte menshuned that the bloodwerk won't show if I haf FIP, and that is true, but it will show if I has to haf a biopsy for it. I doesn't haf any of the obvious symptoms for FIP, but the v-e-t is just 'vestigating all possibilities. Mommy doesn't fink it's FIP eifurr.
I didded eat some ham last night and didn't yak it up, so that's good.
So, please keep your pawsies crossed that the rest of my blood werk is not as wonky as the stuff that camed back this morning.
The (almost) daily adventures of Sammy, Miles and Nicholas Meezer. One is sweet and calm, one his happy and playful. The other? um......not so much.

Mum has to take blood thinners. She didn't know kitties could, too. They're a bit of a nuisance, but not really too bad.
We all think you deserve an entire ham all to yourself!
Love to Sammy,too!
The messin w/ your ear and jamming mommy's finger in your ear sounds like an ear infection to me...and since your dizzy too that sounds like an inner ear infection. Did you get any anti-biotics yet?
I hope they make you better soon.
BTW: Thanks for keeping us updated...we're all worried about you.
Maybe it is just an inner ear problem, we are still gonna send you healing purrayers and foughts.
Yeah! I keep checking for Miles updates and I'm glad to see a good one. I know you're ear is itchy but I think that is a wonderful thing indeed! Keep up the pitiful faces to get more HAM!!

I am glad you don't have to go back to the V-E-T today, but I am sorry some of your blood is being bad. I wonder why they don't give you some antibiotics just to be safe since it seems to be a problem with your ear. Thanks for the updates. We are purring for you.
OHOHOHOHOH You gots bad blood? Was it past its expiration date? Sorry, bad joke. I just don't know what to say, cept GET WELL SOON! Yur in our purrayers, right at the top an firstest.
Oh Miles, we are so sorry to hear you are not feeling well. We hope your bloodworks come back healthy. Hope you are getting lots of ham. Feel better soon. Headbutts & purrs.
I have not stopped purring Miles. If your ears are itching, maybe it was some sort of ear infection that was making you act all weird. That would be a good thing because it's fixable. We want you to be our Miles again.
Chey is purring for ham...
Miles, we've been so worried about you we made Mom turn on the 'puter at home special to check on you! We agree about the ear infection thing. Did your doctor give any antiobiotics?
At least you're still eating... that's good. We're purrin' like crazy for you to get better. You were one of our first friends and we couldn't stand it if something bad happened. Not that we think it will...we're just sayin', that's all.
The Crew
Miles I am still purring for you. Will keep it up as we got some good news but we need more good news. Agree on the ear infection thingy, I hope you got medicine for that right away.
Oh, Miles, I am hoping and praying that you get better soon. Eat lots of ham and get lots of rest.
PS Mommy said to have the VET look in your ears with the big magnifying scope. Last Oct. when I had that awful ear infection and was all loopy, the VET didn't see it with the little scope they ususally use. I'd busted both ear drums cause I shook my head so hard cause of the nasty infection. Sorry we should have put that in our earlier post.
"Purrs" Miles. Lots of ham and snuggles sounds great for healing up. Give Sanjee a headbump for me -- I think she telerported over to stay until you feel better. To me it looks like she's just zonked out in her kittybed, but I heard that's what it looks like to us humans when kitties telerport. We're all sending lots of purrs and prayers for you, and healing energy too. Love, Mom Robyn
Get better soon, Miles. The vet smells like dog butts.

You get better, OK?
it's been warm here today...and as i've been sprawled in various cool places, i've been purring for you, miles. ben has ben (heh) purring too.

I think the stabby people go a lot of guesdwork when it comes to fixing sick kitties. They can't help it, because they are only human, after all, and they don't understand when we sit there and tell them what the problem is. Apparently, everything can be made better by shoving things up our butts...
Did they look up your nose? One time the Woman's nephew had a bug up his nose and it made him dizzy and sick. Maybe you sniffed up a spider while you were sleeping...
how are you today Miles? Please keep us updated - will be checking regularly!!! Purrs and love for you
Yao-Lin & Baby Mao xx
I'll keep my paws crossed for you Miles. And I'll send positive vibrations your way to help you get better.
Good luck,
We are purraying it is an inner ear infection. In the meantime, we think you should eat more hamm!
Having just endured a visit to the v*t, I and all the Good Cats send Good vibes that whatever you have can be cured soon.
(Y'know, if you play your cards right, you are going to get so much ham....!)
