Rememberance Tuesday

SAMMY

It was one year ago today that our beloved Gramma Trixie wented to the Rainbow Bridge to be wif her twin brofurr Grampa Norton, and The One Who Came Before, Ralphie.

We still miss her so much. Yesterday, Mommy gotted out the saved furs from Trixe and Norton and let us sniff them. I sniffed and sniffed and licked the furs. Miles took the Trixie furs and put them between his paws and laid down on the couch and purred.

For those kitties who were not blogging last year, HERE is a great blog entry writed by Gramma Trixie, about her life.

I read her post and I know Anastasia and her will get along JUST swell!!!
It is so wonderful to have a rainbow residence for her - and I know how much you miss her, unfortunately I know it first hand. The staff keeps telling each other it will get better - but I do not think they belief it right now. I was thinking of having a regular remembrance day for our precious Anastasia, and every cat that crossed the bridge - is there a communal blog out there to do that? If not - maybe we can organize one?
It is important to keep honoring our loved ones! On this side and the other.
And thank you sooooo much for your support, I really do not know what I would have done without it...

I am sad that I never had a chance to Meet Gramma Trixie or Grampa Norton. It sounds like they were wonderful cats. Of course you still miss them - my mom still misses the one who came before me, Whiskers. You and your humans have my condolences on your loss. You will always have the wonderful memories of Gramma Trixie in your hearts and minds.

We remember Miss Trixie and honor her memory.
We like to think that all who have before have made friends with each other and are just waiting for us. Won't it be fun when we're all together again?
Purrs and cuddles to our Meezer friends.

Yes, they might be with us in their beautiful spirits and the rays of the sun and the smell of their furs - but we will always miss their furry little bodies and beautiful faces and cute voices....
I will put the question to the Cat Blogoshpere to see if we all can maybe create a wonderful remembrance blog for our loved once that are with us without their bodies...

Miles and Sammy, that is wonderful to read about your Grandma Trixie. She was a great cat who knew her own mind and that was funny that she taped herself being attacked. That is a great idea Karl has about a remembrance blog. And we like thinking they are all together and know each other like Speedy suggested. Mom always thinks of Ariel and it makes her sad. Thanks for sharing Grandma Trixie with us today! ((((((((((hugs to all))))))
Your FL furiends,

Thanks Sammy and Miles for your Birthday Song. You have very fine voices and you both are so cute.
