My rule for today is:
Vinegar tastes like ^&*)(* (insert werds from your bad werd list). It might look like water but don't stick your tongue in it. Even if it is mixed with water.
By the way Mother: you KNOW that I have an issue with finding the water level in my water bowl, so don't be surprised that I stuck my head in too far.

That rule applies to bleach too. My Lady cleaned out the bathtub the other day. I thought it was water. Blech!

i always stick my nose is too far and git water in my nose
I haf to slap the water to make sure of the level.
After a while though, I just do it cuz it's fun.
I slap the water with my paw and lick it off my paw. Or drink out of the tap. Then I don't have to worry about not seeing where the water is and getting it up my nose. Maybe you could make your mommy turn on the tap for you whenever you want a drink form now on?
Vinegar is yucky.

poor kitty. When we were in Korea my neighbor had 3 kitties and bought a very nice fountain. The kitties LOVED their new drinking fountain...but their mom had to remember to keep it full cuz if it ran out of water the motor would go bad.
I don't have stories of curious kitties drinking weird stuff though...just bad dog stories of them eating stuff that wasn't food.
You are the sweetest meezers to come visit me again! I am feeling a bit better, right now I am sitting on mommies lap for the first time in weeks. It is my third time out of the frying pan so far today. I also ate and coughed a whole bunch on and off all day...but it is getting better because I am purrrrring and feel happy. Having so much love all around me and the warmth you are bring to me here in my frying pan makes this a happy place.

Oh no! How are we supposed to tell the difference yikes! I put my nose in any glass or bowl I can find, thats how I got my love for coffee.

Bonnie puts her face too far into the water too an sneezes. So instead, she dips her paw an licks it. Our paws are like sponges! That's also why she purrfurs to drink from the tap an the top of the fountain insteada a bowl.

I have an issue with the water bowl, too! If it's too low, sometimes I turn it over trying to feel it.
Don't think I've ever tasted vinegar, tho. Must have been pretty bad.
