Thank you efurryone for the good wishes. For those of you who don't know or missed an earlier post, I has a cancerous tumor thing on my belly. It's on the outside and it weeps guck and gross stuff sometimes. And then I lick it and make it worse. I also pulled out all of the furs around it. The mom tries an e-collar on me and it made me miserable and I didn't eat. So she said she has to find a way to cover up the tumor thing so that it doesn't ooze on stuff and make me lick it all the time. The v-e-t doesn't know if operating would work, and the price that she quoted the mom was really really really expensive
So that was way too much information, right?
BTW - I bit Nicky in the face. The mom was all mad. I think that I deserve a pass for efurrying bad I does - 'acause I's sick. Right?

Well, not a free pass. Please don't bite your brother or your mom, even though you don't feel well. We are sorry you are having such a hard time finding a comfy outfit to help with the drainage. It's no fun to be sick. :(

Oh Sammy - I am sending purrayers and POTP that you can feel better, and that your
brofur gets over his bitey. It is terrible when you aren't feeling well.
There are such things as cloth cones. I don't know if that would help or not, but it wouldn't be as uncomfortable as a rigid plastic one.

Biting your brother will not help.
Maybe you can wear a king of tight fitting padded t-shirt to help with the oozies.

Oh no, Sammy! We didn't know. We send you a ton of purrs. When Ernie had some scabby areas on his back because of his allergies, the mom put a t-shirt on him to keep him from messing with it. Maybe something like that would work for you?
I agree with getting a free pass for an occasional bite AND wearing a shirt with a cause pad. I saw someone on Facebook put an infant's button shirt that fit on their cat so it wouldn't bother a healing incision.
